I was just sat sitting here thinking about a potential build and the thought struck me, how do builders without mice position their stuff....That thought led me to wonder if there is a different way to position items using arrow keys or some such. The main reason I ask is that doors are the bane of my existence. They are so hard for me to move around, as in spin to face a particular way. I can get them mostly right and just need a little nudge and WHAM! it's spun 127.6 degrees and I have to say bad words and start over.
So, is there a better way to axially spin elements more precisely? Or am I just blowing smoke up my own end?
Thanx!

Hey, Scarlett! I believe that using ALT key should help you position your furniture. I will use a door to explain how this should be done: 1. We have a door that is 90 degrees off 2. Hold down ALT key and move it to the wall 3. Now move it to the other side to change its direction as shown 4. Put it back on the floor Here is the result: Hope this helps!

The ALT key, as fire said above, can help a lot with rotating furniture if you want to get creative or just decoration in general.

Thought id just add on to what he said though this prob wont answer your question (this isnt a "rotating" tool i can say, its just to help get more surfaces for better building)You can also purchase a 'furniture placement sphere' for 100cc (80cc VIP) to get surfaces most objects might not have (this does not require for you to press alt too)

The method Fire posted is what I do. It's very quick and precise. I don't like the builder's ball (furniture placement sphere) because I think that using a wall or small platform works better, but that's just me. I was hesitant to post because it's one of my secrets to building
